About Nativity

Nativity of the Virgin Mary is a part of the Metropolis of Detroit of the Holy Archdiocese of America under the spiritual aegis of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

Our parish is an integral part of and visible manifestation of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ. She has been established by Him, she has been nurtured by the Holy Apostles, the Great Fathers and teachers of the Faith down through the ages in an unbroken continuum.

Ours is an exciting community filled with friendly people, young and old, of various and diverse ethnic backgrounds. They, along with us, look forward to becoming better acquainted with you. We invite you to not only join with us in the sacramental life of the Church but also to partake in the educational, social and cultural programs that the parish provides.

It is only in the Church and through the Church that the spiritual nourishment that one needs in his/her life, as well as the encouragement and challenge to fight the good fight which alone can lead to salvation, can be discovered and experienced. The Nativity is just such a vibrant place.

Again, Welcome!
